SZU as an active participant in the accompanying business mission of the Czech Prime Minister to Serbia

Business mission of the Czech Prime Minister to Serbia

SZU has repeatedly become an active participant of an accompanying business mission of the Czech Prime Minister, Mr. Bohuslav Sobotka, in Serbia. Mr. Michal Dvořáček from Foreign Cooperation represented our Institute among other Czech entrepreneurs.

During the one-day program, we had an opportunity to discuss various topics of a common interest with our commercial representative for the Balkans region – Ms. Mirjana Opacic from SZU Balkan. We also had a chance to meet Ms. Tamara Ilic, Junior Project Manager of GIZ, who expressed serious interest in working with our Institute in the field of heating technology testing and consulting activities

During the one-day program, members of the mission had the opportunity to discuss business with the Czech Prime Minister, as well as with other representatives of the government team that took part in the mission. The Prime Minister Sobotka was, inter alia, informed about our efforts to set up firmly on Serbian territory, and acknowledged our report on the progressive development of SZU activities in Serbia.

The Prime Minister also expressed his willingness to continue in supporting projects of Czech companies in the Balkans, particularly in Serbia, from the perspective of the foreign trade policy of our government. The end of the day belonged to the Economic and Trade Forum, which provided a broad platform for multilateral meeting of the heads of 16 European countries with the Chinese Premier. SZU participated in a panel discussion specifically focused on „Energy, Construction and Infrastructure“.
