SZU‘s measures in connection with Covid-19

We are constantly monitoring and evaluating the COVID-19 situation. We have taken a number of measures to help minimize the risk of infection. We do everything we can to ensure that these measures have the least impact on the operation of our business and on running orders. Our main goal in this situation is to protect the health of our employees and customers.

Director-General of SZU meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea

     

On 7 March 2017, Mr. Tomáš Hruška, Director-General of SZU, met with H.E. Moon Seoung-hyun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, at the premises of rectorate of the Brno University of Technology (VUT). Mr. Hruska had a chance to outline at this special meeting current activities of our Institute and mention also our achievements in Korea, especially focused on our SZU Korea representation, as well as a close cooperation with VUT. The meeting was led and coordinated by Prof. Petr Štěpánek, Rector of VUT, acting also as a member of the Supervisory Board of SZU. Among other participants attending the meeting, there were also Ms. Marcela Karmazínová, University Vice Rector for International Relations, Mr. Michal Štefl, Chairman of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of South Moravia, and last but not least Mr. Jozef Abrahám, Board Member and CFO of ALTA company.

H.E. Ambassador Moon Seoung-hyun also met during his two-day visit program of Brno with Mr. Pavel Zeman, Attorney General, Bohumil Šimek, Governor of the South Moravian Region, as well as with Mr. Petr Vokřál, Mayor of Brno.
